After installing Conserver® Units on 2 Freightliner FLD120 trucks equipped with C-15 (ACERT) CAT engines, Alaska West Maintenance Supervisor, Steve Nolan, had this to say:
"I am happy to report we are still operating the trucks with the NextGen system. We have accumulated 522K miles on one of the trucks and 581K miles on the second for a total of over 1.1 million miles. We have had the rod and main bearings inspected on both units at around the 345K mile mark and found absolutely no indication of wear.
We have since installed the NextGen system on 8 of our Freightliner Cascadia Tractors equipped with Detroit Diesel DD15 Engines. To date we have accumulated 2,423,000 miles combined on these trucks. Mileage on these units range from 120k to 386k. We have had one truck into the dealer with an engine oil pump pick-up tube problem. The warranty requirement was for the dealer to remove and inspect the crank bearings whenever the low oil pressure fault exists. The dealer was unable to find any wear in the bearings and reinstalled them.
We are currently in the process of retrofitting the remainder of our fleet with the H2 NextGen filter."

Dirty Filters, LLC President, Thomas Reddington, installed several Conserver® systems on equipment at a paper mill and this is what he had to say:
“A Conserver® HI4 with logic controls was placed on a large gearbox that had major water contamination and was in an open area to the environment.
The HI4 successfully reduced the PPM of water in the oil in the reservoir to an acceptable level in a short period of time.
A Conserver® HI3 with logic control was installed on a smaller lime kiln gearbox, whose oil reservoir was also contaminated with water and was also in an open area to the environment.
The HI3 quickly performed to remove the water and clean the oil in the reservoir to normal.
A portable self-contained cart equipped with an HI3 unit and control panel is being used on a temporary basis to clean contaminated oil on gear boxes – it can then be easily moved to another piece of equipment.
These units have operated as promised, and improved the life efficiency of the lubricating fluid to a normal status based on continued oil analysis.
I am pleased with the results of the Conserver® units and I am looking for opportunities to install additional units and pursuing opportunities in other plants.”
